Hi! I'm Cass.
I'm an emerging writer based in Washington D.C. My work has appeared in The Journal, Teen Vogue, Pinch Journal Online and other publications.
I write to document my life as a chronically ill woman living in the heart of the U.S. empire. My words are also influenced by my experience as a civil rights attorney. Despite living in “these times,” I (try to) write from a place of hope, humor, and deep love for my communities.
I’m currently working on a braided memoir that explores my disabled body and my favorite horror films.
